Hey
I've had this on the old iTunes for a while now and wanted to share it 'cos I just kept digging the groove. It's just me and my mate Tom Pilling - monster keys player and composer - jamming my tune Push on a recent duo gig. It's just great playing with Tom as he's so free and yet completely on it timing-wise - and always brings out the best in my playing - this is just us vibing and having a lot of fun. I'm playing my Thumb NT straight through the PA - no amp, no effects. Who needs drummers anyway
Hope you dig some of this: Push - Live Duo http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=72153
Thanks for listening
Mike
EDIT - you will need quicktime for this and it works best in Firefox - which you should use anyway because it kicks ass.

Mike
PS Chris - I emailed you the tune - did you get it? |

Super funky, but I'm a drum ho, I think that drums would have made that thrice as nice, but no more than that, you and the keyboard player fill up space nicely without overplaying, a drummer would just solidify that groove.
I just really like the drums.
Great playing as always.

I dug the track, especially with the interplay between the bass and the keys, and the way it sounds without a drummer-almost like some rhythms are sometimes suggested rather than stated outright, which produces a very interesting and egaging listen. I also enjoyed hearing you play without the effects! |

Great playing as always. | +1 I think a solid drummer could have made this tune even funkier. Just my thoughts. Its still really good though.
