'Giant Steps' animation

Not sure whether this has been linked on TalkBass before. It's a computer animation inspired/generated by John Coltrane's 'Giant Steps'. Check it out:

(Make sure you have your speakers on.)

That's pretty cool. Can't tell from memory if the animation follows the harmonic motion completely.

Thumbs up

That was sort of cool. It didn't blow my mind or anything, but I liked it.

Giant Steps Animation

Hi to all!

There is another animation of "Giant Steps" which uses a group of triangles that light up and visualize the way the chords relate and progress.

I've seen it and can't find the link now. Anyone else seen it and have the link?

Thanks, Alex (aka phlybass)
