Hello

Just wanted to share this little ditty with you - I love the idea of mixing jazz improv on top of drum and bass - so here's my version that tune with some d'n'b beats:

Hope you enjoy

Very nice! the more you got into the tune ...the more you DUG into the tune !! Giant Steps is an enigma wraped in a spring roll shell ...oh well thats not it.... but any how I would suggest to students less adroit than yourself to maybe give this tune a try as a SLow to Med. Bossa..... haha ...at leasty thats where I am at..now....or working on... ( I used to play this tune very fast but play or walk the same lines more or less every time around) then maybe someday I shall play as well as you ...........

I keep telling myself slow it down ./. ./. ./. ./. ./. LOL

thanks Kirk

I have tried this tune at all sorts of tempos as well, I can only handle 'Countdown' at half speed as that is and even trickier mind melt of a tune but I use Giant Steps as my gym work out, among other standards, I actually prefer grooving to funk, but shedding shanges is always fun.

thanks for checking it out

Hi guys

I just created a rave-tastic version of this with more in the way of beats and with a new auto-wah solo - hope you dig it:

You can download it here:

Cheers
