Hello, here I am with the most generic thread you can think of. A "what's your fav song thread". But I have a good reason. I'm compiling a new CD. And I want some songs to put on that I might not have heard before. It also gives me a good way to discover new music. I looking for anything from the mid-90's to any time before that. I don't care about genre, because that's kinda the point of finding new music.
I now the topic kinda sucks. But it's a simple request.

But I think, if your compiling songs, and do use a KiTTiE song you should put "Run Like Hell" by both Pink Floyd (originally, of course) and by KiTTiE the difference is huge
KiTTiE is my favorite band and I'm going to see them tonilght

1. faith no more - stripsearch (from "album of the year"). the ultimate fnm song. great bassline also, maybe except those few low b notes I can`t play on my e-a-d-g.
2. alien ant farm - movies (from their "anthology"). those guys are a bit underestaminated - everyone seems to think they`re nu-metal. mistake. fine songwriting.
3. wictor wotten - hip bop (dunno from where). groove! chops! speed! chops!
4. portishead - roads ("roseland nyc live" version). ultimate trip-hop tune. great keyboard intro.
