This is one of my favorite albums of all time. Phil Keaggy is one of the best guitarist's of all time and just NASTY on this album. He floats off onto a cloud and jams extended solo's on a couple of songs that are amazing.
Pecchio on Bass is great, nice rhythmic playing with some good chops and really give a great foundation. Also he does a great job on bass.
Sferra is a great drummer (and acoustic player) and really lays down the groove.
The first and last tracks are definately my favorite with the extended grooves and Phil Solos's.
Any one else? |

| | | | I don't know that album, but Phil Keaggy is incredible. I first heard about him around 1973, from a guy who had lived in Ohio.
Keaggy's Christian music career has "segregated" him from potential fans who, should they hear him play, would most likely consider him in a class with people like Jeff Beck, Roy Buchanan, Danny Gatton, Eric Johnson, et al. |

I recently re-discovered Phil Keaggy and hence how I learned about Glass Harp.
Incredible musicians |

| | | Phil Keaggy is incredible. I saw him do a free acoustic concert a few years ago and it was nothing short of amazing. Great guy too.
For those unfamiliar with Glass Harp, here is an old video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJgdNCYt_tA
Phil Keaggy is a seven-time recipient of the GMA Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year, and was twice nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Gospel Album. He has frequently been listed as one of the world's top-3 "fingerstyle" as well as "fingerpicking" guitarists by Guitar Player Magazine readers' polls. |

I recently had the honor of sharing a couple of tracks on a worship CD with him (we played on the same tunes but never played together).

when i saw them live, dan and john were holding down the groove and laying a nice backdrop, and phil was just off on a little cloud sailing away into the sky with his les paul. just phenomenal stuff.
really top notch stuff. just get the Live at Carnegie Hall album to get a taste and see if the 3 studio albums they cut are worth it from there (i've got all their work, i absolutely love them). |

Glass Harp has a newer live release called "Live At The Beachland Ballroom", recorded in 2008. Anyone have a chance to review it? http://www.glassharp.net/Pages/order.html
