going through a bit of a funk...and not the good kind

as the title suggests, I'm going through a bit of a depressed phase (big move, don't know anyone in the next town), and I've kind of lost my mojo on the 4 strings...or at least I've lost my judgment on if what I play is any good or not.

I'm curious if I can get some honest, no BS feedback on my latest recording. it's just an idea I had, and I recorded it and kind of improved a little. the first 5 notes is the original idea, and the stuff in between and after kind of just happened as I was recording.

I'm assuming the "testing..." song is the newest song (and has a 5 note recurring idea)...the idea could work i believe...however it seems like your timing goes off sometimes when u get back to the 5 note bit (i.e. it feels like it's in a different part of the groove, maybe missing half a beat, don't know if that was your intention though)...but overall I guess it's all workable ideas, just depends on what u do with it i guess.

ah yea, sorry. "testing..." (5 points to whoever gets the reference!) is the new song. and yea, it's not the cleanest recording. I just plugged in and got it recorded so I wouldn't forget it. supposed to be in standard 4/4...listening to it again...jeeze, that is a crappy freaking recording.....
