Im 16 and I am a Mike Finnegan fan. I found a record called Jerry Hahn Brotherhood on ebay for a buy it now of $4 and the shipping is a few dollars. There's another copy on there for around the same. They are both rate at Very Good condition wise. shoudl I take the risk and get . This album never came out on cd only vinyl.

Why not? If that's the only way you can get it, and it's only around $7.00 total, go for it.

But in the record collecting community, "very good" condition is a ways from "mint." Just realize it may show some wear, surface scratches and whatnot. But it should play OK if it's rated very good.

The only caveat about buying vinyl off of eBay is that some sellers do not know how to pack a vinyl LP. They need to be packed in stiff carboard containers, not in soft envelopes, however well-padded. I think that the vast majority of dealers know this, but some casual sellers do not.

I've bought plenty of vinyl off ebay and never had a problem with any of them aside from normal wear and tear to be expected.

I got the chance to play with Mike Finnegan back in the 80s. He was gigging with my friend's band and I got to sit in. Man, what a player! Really nice cat, too. Very tall- I was surprised...he's like, 6'6" or something! Do you have any of his other stuff?

Bassic83 I do not have any of his other stuff. I have Electric ladyland by Hendrix which has Mike on a song or two. I did hear a couple clips and he is such a great singer plus organist. I also read in his bio on a website that he and HEndrix has plans of forming a group.
