Good/Instrumental Rap, Hip-hop, R&B?

Gimme some fellas. I'm aware of The Roots already, but a lot of their songs are straight up rap, and from what I hear pale horribly in comparison to live performances. So,

I'm looking for some good instrumental rap/hip-hop/R&B.

I've been really digging this cat Dwele. As well, D'angelo is always awesome. Alicia Keys is great, as is jill scott and Raphael saadiq. I really like neo-soul stuff, a lot of these cats are kinda border-line hip hop/R&B, it's all really good.

You didn't really mention how far back you wanted to go for instrumental R&B...
So-
Earth, Wind, & Fire had a couple of long instrumental tracks on, IIRC, their 2nd & 3rd albums; one is called "Evil"(I think).
