A Tber asked me about my recording setup and asked for advice about recording, so I figure'd that I'd post it here.
My advice is to keep it simple. Less is often more, if you know what I mean. It's always better to get one or two nice channels (mics, pres, compressors, eq's, etc.) than a bunch of mediocre ones. I wish I did that.
First thing to do is to read some of the studio/recording mags like Sound on Sound, EQ, Mix, etc. Then check out Gearslutz which is the Talkbass of the studio cyber-world.
