Great job man. Killer technique. As soon as I heard that I knew it wasn't what the guy in Anthrax played. It was too good! lol

It's funny -- I did an instructional tape many years ago called "The No-Cliche' Slap Bass Course" that was all about what you're doing -- using slap in a different way. But you've taken it to another level.

Slappers take note! THIS is what I'm talking about! We don't need more funk riffs in "E".

A suggestion: Start writing! Use that technique in your own riffs.

Again -- awesome job.

Do you have any plans for a solo career? You should do.

I have a couple of vids with that technique in my own songs, for example:

or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXPQa...Jx8U8&index=17

Awesome dude, you should get a strap and stand up. You have way to much energy for a chair.

Okay, I'm going to say something that may make me sound like a prick, but I 'm saying it because I have utmost respect for you. Here goes...

Those tracks are killer -- but they're not songs. They're riffs. I was talking about songs with melodies, chord changes, and arrangements, and lyrics and hooks. Until you have that, you'll never get to the next level -- and I mean the level of getting signed and selling millions of records and doing interviews in Bass Player magazine.

Hey, I did a track on my CD that was based totally on the bass part -- but that only goes so far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQvlSRlPmQc Every other song has a melody. I'm not displaying technique like yours but realize that has limited appeal -- even to bassplayers.

There are a lot of guys who have skill, and then there's MARKETABLE skill. You, my friend, have sick skills. And it would be a shame for it to just remain another curiosity on you tube.

Check this out -- some fat kid in his bedroom. A stone cold motherf*cker. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATub40Npxik Where's he?

If you're not a writer, find guys who are who dig your thing. I think your approach to a punk pop format would be amazing. Yeah, it's Flea-like. But it's Flea on steroids. And maybe it's time for the next slap virtuoso.

Best of luck bro.
