Great Bass Playing in Obscure Songs - Til I Run With You

There's a very late Lovin' Spoonful song, from the band's final moments, long after John Sebastian and Zal Yanofsky were gone, called 'Til I Run With You' that I have always been in love with the bass part in it. It has very definite Jamerson-type moments in it. It swings and it's very inventive. This song, by my reckoning, has been totally forgotten. Does anyone know anything about this song or who played it? It is exceptionally well played. I have known it since the late-70s, when I stumbled across it after randomly buying some used records. Inquiring minds are hanging on the street corner wondering.
