Talking GREGory bruce CAMPBELL TRACKS!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Fellas and Gals! I just uploaded some tracks to my little tiny new MySpace page…

www.myspace.com/gbcjr1st

On: “So Many Words” and the BASS solo in the middle of “You Should Know by Now” I played a rented Double BASS

On: “No One Likes a Fool” I played Skip Fantry’s Knuckle BASS serial number #1

On: “Read with My Eyes Closed”, “Slow Vibration” and the majority (minus the BASS solo) of “You Should Know by Now” I played my old BEE basses GBC signature nine string…

ENJOY! And let me know what you think? (Constructive criticism???)

Thanks,

GBCjr1st

Greg! Is that YOU singing!?! Really cool. It's definately got a Green Day kinda' vibe. All in all; good tones. I love how you showcase the range of an ERB, but there's "ERW'ing"......(Extended Range Wanking). To me, these songs are more focused on the vocals/ the lyrics.....the playing is well done. The production is well done too. The only critique I think I can add would be this (and, PLEASE.....take this with rock salt). My ear was wanting to hear something other than upright bass on the tune you took the upright solo on......It could be the tone. Maybe more deapth next time you record upright? OR, electric fretless!!!! Again; rock salt. In regards to upright bass; I play not; therefore, I know not. Over all; Great work! It might not be everyones' cup'o tea. It's still well done, though.

Hey Greg. You and I were on staff at the Bozeman Bass Bash many years ago. I still remember tie-dying staff shirts in April's backyard and listening to Carol Kaye for hours over dinner at Boodle's. Good times.
