From the album "One Nation Under a Groove", on which wikipedia lists the bass players as William 'Bootsy' Collins, Rodney "Skeet" Curtis and Cordell 'Boogie' Mosson. Can anybody tell me who played the incredible fretless marathon that is "Groovallegiance" ?

OMGZ!!! that song has one of the BEST basslines EVER!!! i forgot who plays on that song but i know it's not Bootsy. my first bass teacher turned me on to that one decades ago and its still one of my favs!

EDIT: it was "SKEET"!!!
