What 5 songs do you like to play that are so cheesy you would otherwise never listen to it?

I'll admit...

Disco Inferno (Dumb fun)

Dancing Queen (Killer Groove that's precise and clean)

Poker Face (Quirky figure that's catchy as all hell)

We Are Family (Actually a great bass part , but the tempo MUST be perfect)

YMCA (Have you ever really heard the thumb/finger rhythm is the chorus? )

I know...it's embarrassing. But come on-- you have some too!

Except for YMCA (which luckily I have not played in years.. sorry that is a nasty piece of business there), your list is a pretty good one. Great basslines and people dig 'em on the dance gigs. Haven't done Disco Inferno in years, but the others seem to pop up every once in a while with the various bands I play/sub with.

Every once in a while during a breakdown or whatever, one of the singers I work with does 'Freak Out', which is also a fun and challenging bass line. Anything by Chic still sounds fresh and interesting to me.

Bayyyybeee, now that I've found you......

I love you more today than yesterday

Both are cheeze-o-matic songs with cool (but repetitive) basslines that gets nothing but those in posession of two X chromosomes on the dance floor. I enjoy the view when we play these!

Disco Inferno and We Are Family are in our set list. I don't think they are cheesy though. But correct, other than the band playing it, I normally don't listen to it. Heard them both enough when they first came out! Have played the others except Poker Face.

Waiting on the World to Change - John Mayer

Before this got thrown into my set, I HATED it. Lyrics are so predictable & repetitive. But upon more listens, I began to love the groove.
