Haven't listened to the new stuff, but I liked the 3-4 songs I heard about a year and a half ago.

I haven't heard them live before but I recently got hold of "the mercury lift". Fairly impressed with the production, the guy has got a great voice when he sings the melodic parts. But live could be a different story. its one thing to make a great studio album, but you gotta be able to pull the same sound live. But if they ever make it to Australia, I will be checking them out.
