Have a P-Funk Christmas!

I'm spreading Christmas cheer, P-Funk style! Here's a link to my SoundClick music page:

Music page of Kenny Powell - MP3 music page on SoundClick

The top 4 songs on my page are:

"Christmas Flash Light" - I covered the Parliament classic and reworked the lyrics.

"Rudolph 2010" - A funky version of "Rudolph" that I recorded last year. The envelope filter on the keyboard bass is an EHX Riddle Qballs.

"New Treasures" - I tried to write the kind of song that Bing Crosby would have sang. It was my first attempt at this style, but I think it turned out pretty good.

"Auld Lang Syne 2010" - I was inspired by "Ahh...The Name Is Bootsy, Baby!" when I did this cover. I threw in some crowd noise and other sound effects just for fun!

I hope you enjoy the music. Merry Christmas!

If for NOTHING else the line "Everybody's got a lot gifts...under the TREE!!!" is worth the price of admission alone.

Funk on, my brother, funk on!

I can hear Frank doing "New Treasures" with a Nelson Riddle arrangement (and orchestra) and slowed down as a ballad. Nicely done.

Thanks for the feedback! rhino333, I'd love to hear "New Treasures" with a Nelson Riddle-style orchestra arrangement. I'd also like to hear a natural crooner singing it; I'm more of a Stevie Wonder-type singer posing as a crooner. Maybe I can find some people to collaborate with. "Flash Light" gets the most attention of the four tunes. That one was just plain fun to do!
