Ok here it goes fire suit on here is a link for the last bass tracks I recorded with a project called Tall Like God. I am on all tracks on the cd except a little shot. click pics and there is a picture of me and there is a mention of me on the front page in the bio. I used a Swr working mans 12 on this recording and got a good tone. Different then anything I ever did before. feel free to comment and rate. it is a pretty Heavy recording IMO Enjoy! http://www.myspace.com/tall_like_god

It's rare that people actually listen to music posted here, you can't blame them: It's essentially become overflooded with musical spam more or less. Also, you don't play smoothish jazz or funk.

I dig the tracks, the vocals are a bit of a put off for me. To me, they are very pseudo metal, almost parodying metal vocals, and the lyrics... they sound very pissed off high schooler. But the music is great, and your bass tone/playing fits really well.

Thanks for the kind words very strange and dark time in my life, and everyone involved was going through something bad at the time that might be where the anger came from never did anything this dark. I see so many players and think man I have to learn so much more. Now I am listening to more styles instead of just hard rock. Blues, some funk, and old disco even.

The vocals and lyrics don't do anything positive for me. Also, the use of some kind of sound sample or effect in the intro's of all three songs ( I didn't listen to the one you didn't play on ) is gimmicky at best. That said, the backing tracks are great! You sound pro. Nice riffage and a good singer/writer would really take you somewhere.
