thanks guys. gotta give neil kernon props there - he made it sound the way it does.

when i first heard it after he mixed it i hated it, to be honest - the original tracks had a lot of growl that imo were lacking in the finished mix. besides, i had become so attuned to the sounds during tracking the tunes that i couldn't really let go of my impressions of how they should sound, at least not for a long time.

to be honest, today is the first time i've listened to the song all the way through in over two years. not a bad tune, if i do say so myself .

It's always interesting to listen to old stuff you've track and mixed. To me it amazing how all the things that really bothered you, don't anymore. That really changed my view on tracking, mixing and the like. And why I like working with a producer, or someone who is playing that role.

about 24 pounds, give or take. it's not that bad considering where i hold it. the weight is directed more into my chest and less "hanging from my neck" so to speak.

Cool video.. looks like one of those clips from "Rush: Through The Camera Eye" where half of Geddy's face appears through a crack in the snow. I like the part where it looks like you have two heads..
Seriously, though.. good exposure for you. I'll send the link around.
