when i first heard it after he mixed it i hated it, to be honest - the original tracks had a lot of growl that imo were lacking in the finished mix. besides, i had become so attuned to the sounds during tracking the tunes that i couldn't really let go of my impressions of how they should sound, at least not for a long time.
to be honest, today is the first time i've listened to the song all the way through in over two years. not a bad tune, if i do say so myself  .

To me it amazing how all the things that really bothered you, don't anymore. That really changed my view on tracking, mixing and the like. And why I like working with a producer, or someone who is playing that role.
