Question HELP

Sign in to disble this ad
Please someone help settle a dispute.
I know this is ridiculous, but my guitar players say the bass riff on 'Satisfaction' by the Stones (hey, please don't laugh too loudly) is E F# G# A (7th fret, 3rd string/4th on 2nd/ 6th on 2nd/7th on 2nd)
To my ear the G# is wrong and all the bass tabs I could find online say so, too.
I hear a G there
I know one of you guys with perfect pitch must know.........

Thanks

Sandy

You can check my transcription of the bassline here (scroll down the page). Most of the times it's a G natural, but there's a G# for the first repetition (same thing every time the chorus section of the song is played).

Alvaro, thanks, I thought I heard the G# sometimes, but mostly not.

May I print a copy of your magnificent transcription? How would I do that?

Sandy

Sure! The Scribd control panel at the top of the document offers the "print" option within the "More" button. Let me know if it works for you.

Hey Álvaro

It only prints the upper left corner. I'll try something else.

gracias

Hmm... it's a documented iPaper issue. Try printing the image in this thread.
