I'm really surprised - less than two full days in and we're already 1/4 of the way to our goal. This kickstarter thing is sweet.

Looks like an interesting project. That "in-between" part of the path form record to regional success is definitely an under-documented area -great subject.

My band is in the process of putting together a kickstarter.com pitch to fund our first LP's mixing/mastering/duplication and (hopefully) promotion.

Thanks, mambo4. We think it's an area that should be documented, as well all know how much hard work goes into that "in-between" path, but so many non-musicians have no idea.

I'm already impressed with kickstarter, so best of luck to you and your campaign as well.
