Help Me Complete CD Title

Sign in to disble this ad
Please fill in the blank: "The Cat's Pajamas (The Dog's _____)".

My singer/songwriter/guitarist loves cats, and my wife and I are involved in Australian Cattle Dog rescue.

To make a long story short, we're working a promotional angle to market our soon to be recorded CD, with part of the profits going to animal rescue.

Mys/s/g wants to title the CD "The Cat's Pajamas". A lot of the people involved are dog people so I thought that adding a subtitle might be more effective.

Appropriate suggestions will be appreciated. Keep it clean. And thanks.

+1000000000000000000000000. Better than anything I could come up with, plus has a nice ring to it in the title in its entirety.

"The dog's bollocks" is a well-known English expression that means the same thing as "the cat's pajamas"; in fact I'd bet the cat one came about as a polite euphemism for the dog one. So even if you come up with "The Dog's Something Else", you'll probably have people making "bollocks" comments.

If you want to do something silly, I think "The Dog's Smoking Jacket" with a picture of a sophisticated-looking dog in a Hefner-style robe would be a hoot.
