Help me pick some R&B tunes

Help me pick some R&B tunes that are interesting to play with just bass and drums.

It's been six or so years since I've been active in a band situation and I am trying to get back in shape. I have a great drummer to play with and want to rebuild the song book I once had. I'd like to get some tunes that will be interesting to play with just drums and bass. Basically not 1-4-5's or tunes that are one chord vamps that get boring without vocals or solos. I don't know, something with some chord structure to it or a bass line that directs the structure of the song.

The standard stuff I know and will relearn once I am ready to add some additional players.

Doesn't have to be just R&B either. Blues, R&Bish Jazz.

Anything with James Jamerson playing, songs built around the bass part. I've played with just a drummer a fair bit, i find it quite straightforward to create stuff on the spot, especially if your the only one who decides the key / chord structure or cares!
