Help me remember the name of this band

Hopefully this will ring a bell with someone. I saw a youtube clip of a song and I cannot remember the title or the band, and only have a vague idea of how the song went but....

-The band was popular enough to tour (at least within the last five years I think), but not a household name.

-The band consists of a bass player and drummer

-The bassist is a woman and also the lead singer.

-She plays a (black?) Rickenbacker, distorted with a pick, kind of like Lemmy

-The sound was very groove-oriented metal sound, it reminded me a bit of Tool, but not as dark and heavy.

-This particular music video had a campy, 50's sci-fi theme that (I think) opened with two people in the cockpit of a rocket blasting off.

I'll be amazed if anyone actually knows what I'm talking about

It could be Clatter....I found a video on youtube where the bass player is playing a black Ric. And the video your talking about is on Clatters website.

But she doesn't use a pick.

Amy uses her fingernails.
