Help With Song ID

Okay. I've googled the lyrics for this, I've tried Yahoo! answers, and I now find myself before the highest court of appeal. If my bass-brethren can't answer this question, I don't know where else to turn.

I'm trying to ID this song:

As soon as it starts, you'll understand why. That is a juicy line, and the rest of the song isn't bad either. I'm dying of curiosity.

Hmmm... Catchy, sounds a bit like a Buddy Holly tune (to me, anyway).

There's another version of the ad, with a different track, which has these comments:

HowRadIsThis Why did they change the song for the american one? I'm trying to find out the American song but I can't find that version anywhere

thelynxeffect (uploader) for everyone who's interested, the song was created for the ad by our agency in argentina... we're trying to find out more details, and if we can get a version to download or anything...

So I read that as the tune's been commissioned specifically for that ad & isn't commercially available.
