I love Maccas bass tone on this song , fat yet articulate with a bit of a clank to the sound but not what I would describe as bright , does anybody have any idea how he achieved this tone ?

If I remember correctly, I think I heard it was played on a Rick 4001 on the neck pickup.

I could be wrong though.
