Hey, my band just got one of our tracks back from the studio. We recorded a short demo at McNally Smith college of music (where my guitarist goes.) Anyway, the track is a cover, "I don't need no doctor". It currently does not have vocals, so ignore the extended drumbeat in the middle (it's a vocal solo of sorts, for those who don't know the song).
Anyway, I could use some constructive criticism on my playing. The two videos on our page are two of our originals.
The bass on the recording is a five string SX Jazz with stock pickups, the bass in the videos is a Raven four string which I no longer have.
Thanks for any input! http://www.myspace.com/lamelimesmusic

| | | I thought it was fine for the music......it's blues..... as long as you don't overplay and you hold down the pocket is good! And you didn't and you did .......so ....... good.
Sounded loose enough, tends towards the funk side but hey that works fine

Sometimes it sounds like you're finger pickin' and other times it sounds like you're using a pick and maybe picking just a little too hard. Keep up the good work, and good luck.

Which means it's pretty good! I like the singer in "I Don't Need No Doctor"
