Wow, Rocco could give four bald babies enough hair to cover their heads for life with the amount of hair he had.

Dam that was fast, lost some of the groove imo but Rocco is still playing it clean.

Thanks for that. They are fantastic. That actually brought tears to my eyes, it's that good. The Band of Doom, for sure.

Rocco's always had killer chops. This doesn't seem too much faster than the album version. They always seem to play WIH a little slower live, so this is a nice change. Gotta love Lenny Pickett's dancing there...

On another note, I was LMAO at Lenny Pickett dancing!! Now I know where Dan Ackroyd got his routine for the Blues Brothers!!

Very cool! thanks. Check out Marcus Miller's version on his album Marcus. It's ridiculous and at least as fast as this version. I know Rocco was the original on the tune.

I'm pretty sure that's not Lenny Pickett. That Brother cannot sing anywhere near as well as Lenny Pickett. I also noticed that Dave Garibladi was not the drummer either. Is that Chester Thompson?

He meant the saxophonist, Lenny Picket- altissimo wailer and MD for SNL!

And yeah, this singer's nothing like the one on the recording.

Lenny Pickett is the sax player with the huge afro. Ronnie Beck was on drums. Hellova drummer too. Not sure who the singer was.

edit: Singer is Hubert Tubbs.
