if the others are still playing, then it isn't a solo...

Obviously not. It's all arranged and orchestrated that way. Just ask Eddie Van Halen. Better yet, Jeff Berlin

More to the point, Kirk Covington is just ripping it up.

Man, do I miss that band! It's a flat-out crime that they couldn't get enough work to stay together, one of the best fusion bands ever!!!!!

I'm listening now, but having a REAL hard time waiting through the extremely boring wankery of a guitar solo...

... ok, i tend to really enjoy "progressive" music and I enjoy jazz as well, but that was the most pointless and boring stuff I've heard in quite a while. Sorry for the dissenting opinion, but you're the one who suggested I listen.

You're welcome lazylion! Well, I suppose this isn't for everyone. How you can dislike it, I don't know.

Maybe it's the same way jazz affects some people. In one ear out the other.

He's good, so what? So there! He's good, and it sounded awesome!

A great example of a band that is far beyond talented, and makes really boring music.
