I enjoyed the line, tone was kind of weird for me, but he seems like a great player. has anyone seen his educational video? judging by that video, it might be worth looking into.. what do you think?

It is absolutely the best instructional video I have ever purchased. You can get it from his website.

well on that note, I think I'll get it! Thanks! I am definantly a fingerstyle player, and all the good instructional videos I've found have been for slap.

I'm assuming if you buy it the video lesson is more than 1 minute and 37 seconds long? Clearly it should be up to him , but I bet this helps a lot more than hurts lesson sales.

It's all about the flats. I recently changed to flats and showed up to a gig of mine with Mic Gillette (lead trumpet for TOP) He fliped out when he heard the tone. He said "you know Rocco's been using flats for years". That explained the punch, presence, and fullness of the tone. Awwww Yeah!!!!
