This is a project I worked on with my older brother and a few friends, Its bassically an instrumental rock cd. 17 tracks, me and my brother shared the mixing responsibilities. We recorded into a small yamaha mixing board>to a Focusrite Saffire LE 6-In/8-Out FireWire Interface, two mics on the drums. Guitars and Bass were direct outputs from the amps to the firewire. I think it came out pretty solid, free for download, Filename is Dunce Cap.Zip, I appreciate any feedback!

I downloaded it.

Cool stuff.

Where are your instrumental influences?

do you listen to hella/tera melos/BTEOT/Planets/Lighteningbolt?

The first tracks guitar sorta reminded me of an "incubusy" riff

Influences- Beatles, Rolling Stones, Doors, Talking Heads, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, James Brown, Sublime, Phish, Umphrey's McGee, jazz stuff too.. pretty vast really.

My older brother plays the guitar, so we seem to have a pretty good unspoken connection with the music as we like alot of the same stuff.

I never really got into incubus, nor has my brother, but from what I have heard of incubus I suppose I could see the connection. Glad your enjoying though!

oh and what did you think of the overall sound quality? different songs were done with different basses, fretless to fretted.. so it can vary.
