I just got "The Complete Hot Wax Recordings of Honey Cone" off of itunes. I was curious about post-Motown Holland-Dozier-Holland. Does anybody know about who was in the Hot Wax house band?

I have this on the 2-cd set...it has a lot of liner notes & history but no musician credits.
Ray Parker, Jr. is mentioned as the guitarist on "Want Ads".

Based on your Steely Dan thread, you should like this-
"...the Honey Cone had dissovled, each returning to the world of session appearances- especially Carolyn Willis, who appeared over the next few years on records as diverse as Keith Moon's solo album & Steely Dan's Katy Lied."
