How can I create a video from CD?

There's a lesser known early '80s R&B star whose songs I want to put on youtube (since no one else has yet)....1 or 2 songs have KILLER basslines from a superstar career bassist that is much loved on TB!

So basically I have the CD and want to create an MPEG or AVI with a simple background pic.

I haven't used it, but it looks like you can "Import Pictures" and "Import Audio or Music."
You may have to rip the CD first.

mac or pc? w/ a mac you can use iMovie it's pretty much drag and drop . . .
