How do you identify and purchase cool music you hear on international radio

Been listening to cool Turkish, Pakistani, and Ethiopian music (now those guys can play!) online and want to get some cds but I haven't a clue what artists I've been listening to. Anyone else had this problem? Solutions?

Start fresh-ish. Try this: http://www.pandora.com/ Pandora gives song name, artist, and album, and it's free. then find and buy it on itunes or what have you...

Thanks. I tried with he names of a few Ethiopian artists but it was too obscure for Pandora (I never liked their suggestions were very much anyway).

I did just remember the Ethiopiques series though, which I'm getting.
