How many of you have played on a hit song recording?

Back in 1978, I was in a band called Lickety Split and we had a regional hit record with a cover version of Sam Cooke's song Bring It On Home To Me. We never saw any success outside of our region of western and central PA, western MD, and northern WV but it was still cool to have a song on the radio. It was a hit song for us on local radio stations and jukeboxes. The 45 record has become a collector item.

How many of you have played on a hit song recording?

My band the Raisins had a local hit with a tune called Fear Is Never Boring.

It got play on both the straight rock and top 40 stations. I remember driving once and they were both playing it simultaneously. That was back in '82 or '83...can't remember which.
