hope this is the place to put this...

i just started messing around with garageband and exported a few things to itunes. how would i put them up on the web so that others could hear them?

they aren't good recordings. just something quick. i'm replacing the pups and preamp in my bass and wanted to have a reference point to know if i liked the changes. was going to share my "findings" here.

thanks.

sorry. i have since figured out a way. mods, feel free to delete. in case this sticks around here's what i did.

i recorded in garageband

"shared" to itunes in mp3 format with the "good" setting

tried using putfile but was never able to upload a file

then found soundclick and uploaded them there.

right now that site isn't the most easy to maneuver, but it works. maybe after i use it a little more it'll be easier to use.

if someone has an easier way to do this feel free to let me know. if not, i'll just stick with this method. thanks.

here they are. this is a direct copy/paste from the spector club thread that i posted this in.

don't laugh too much. this is my first attempt at messing with garageband. i was trying to do some quick learning and lay down some basic tracks. my main purpose was to have the stock sound before i make any changes to have a frame of reference. my timing gets off in a few places.

my rebop is an all alder body with emg hz's and the tonepump preamp. i recorded direct with no effects and i play with my fingers (sorry, my nails need a little trimming and you can hear them "grab" the strings every now and then).

i have an emg bqc, 40tw and 40p5 that i plan on putting in later. after i'm finished i'll put up a full thread about it. but figured i'd put the sound files i have now with the stock setup on here. again, don't laugh.

tonepump dimed for "rhythm" and "lead"

tonepump down for "rhythm" and "lead"

Tonepump dimed for the "rhythm" and down for the "lead"

enjoy
