I was looking for some vids on youtube showing how to better do pinch harmonics and found this:

Screw the pinch harmonics - DIG that great groove during the chorus! Holy cow, The whole band is just SWINGING - I've had Heavy Weather for... hell, since it came out - and nowhere on that record do the guys swing like this youtube!

Jaco, you are MISSED.

That tone. Just wow. The fullness, the fatness, the soul of each note. Just amazing. Wayne shorter is incredible.

Ahh, Jaco...his tone was pretty sweet too.

Yeah, this performance swings like hell! Weather Report tweaked and messed round with their stuff all the time live.

Now, everyone, go out and buy Weather Report's 1982 self titled album and listen to "Dara Factor one". The playing and melody from every member is enough to bring tears to my eyes. RIP Jaco and Joe!

It was the Beer - it was Germany 1978.
