Yeah I got my Discbox today!!! It's awesome, the artwork is simply stunning. It's beautiful colors (hence in rainbows) all over and splotches of paint type art. There's 2 45's (vinyl) of the Original Album, and 2 CD's. The first is the original album and the 2nd one is the Bonus CD. It's got 8 more tracks totaling another 27 minutes on it. There is one just Art book (it's a big one) and the inside book with lyrics and art as well.

I'm loving it baby, loving it. The 2nd CD sounds cool, I'm listening to it right now, same vein, just more songs!

Here are the titles and track times

MK 1 (1:04)
Down Is The New Up (4:59)
Go Slowly (3:48)
MK 2 (0:53)
Last Flowers To The Hospital (4:27)
Up On The Ladder (4:17)
Bangers & Mash (3:20)
4 Minute Warning (4:06)

Anyone else get their's? Thoughts?

yeah, some are, they are 2 or 3 that are a little spacier, but overall i would say yes, they are in the same vein as In Rainbows.

I mean the disc is titled In Rainbows (Disc 2), so it seems it's supposed to be part of the album.

I got disc 2 for the same price I paid for disc 1...

but I'm not about to drop a large sum of money for the vinyl versions of an alright album.

Maybe if The Bends got the discbox treatment.

I bought In Raibows on line and was dissapointed there wasn't more songs I also expected that when they asked you your adress they might actually send you a disc...but nothing...I buy Indie band CDS online and get a download and a disc sent to me and sometimes bonus material from other bands.

if you bought their discbox (acutal CD's and vinyl) you get the extra disc. if you just downloaded you just got the one.

I heard "Jigsaw Falling Into Place" on the radio the other day and it's rather good I must say, not what I expected from Radiohead at all!

I love the up-tempo, rockin' feel to Reckoner. One can hear shadows of Pablo Honey if you squint your ears.

Other tracks have more of the modern Radiohead climax composition we know and love.

I think In Rainbows is a bit more diverse than any single album, with the exception of The Bends. It has a lot of elements of their sound from different periods of their history mixed together.

Having said that, to me, it seems to lose the continuity that some of their other albums achieved. OK Computer and Hail to the Thief present themselves as complete; I feel that In Rainbows is more a collection of good songs than a cohesive whole.

I've only got my download from the W.A.S.T.E. store so far, but am strongly considering picking up a discbox in the new year.
