We're a thrash metal band from Montreal thats just starting out, but if you listen PLEASE take into account that the vocals are not good, i'd love some feedback on the music though.

Our guitarist/vocalist has already improved a lot, we just need to record that again, but for now i think it doesn't sound great.

Nonetheless some tbers opinions on the music would be greatly appreciated!

In Norway we'd probably call it rock, imo it's not quick nor heavy enough to go as thrash Consider playing in D standard like the band I am in do, for extra heaviness.

It sounds like you recorded it all with one mic or something. Not a great way to get a good recording. Else it was ok, but as you say, the vocals need a lot of work. I found the intro horribly boring though.

The vocals and drums sound like whiplash to me.

we did we're poor 17 year old kids

Once we gig a bit more we'll get something proper. Hahah Norway you black metal freaks I dislike D i think its too muddy, if you can pull it off great but i doubt its for us, we like E

To the second guy yah i got that whiplash vibe too, i don't think i guitarist can NOT sound like metallica

i'm getting mixed commenst on the intro, some people are like "wow i love the soft intro into that heavy line" and some are saying"its boring and too long"

I think its a suspense thing even if it does drag terribly long....

Any comments on the BASS playing???

Tempo and dynamics need work on the intro. It is a good start.

So are we. Except for this one guy, he is 18. And D sounds good, if mixed properly (imo) :O Check out Until you Die on our myspace to see how D works out

my other band plays in Drop D, to be honest this band tried Necroshine by Overkill in D and we just hated it. The lows made that room awful, maybe its that we play in a pretty small room.

I'll check you guys out

We should try it again though i would LOVE to cover crystal mountain by death

EDIT: JEESE you guys are good and mixed great! (studio work) I would love to have that clarity it our recordings. Having limited funds suck.
