Seriously, I bought Lift Your Skinny Fists... a few weeks ago, and this might be some of the best music I've heard. I think I need to buy their other albums.
Any fans here? Favourite album/song?
Discuss this marvelous Montreal band!

| | | Sigur Rós is also very cool. I bought Ágćtis Byrjun shortly after I started listening to GY!BE.
It's a really good album as well. Maybe a bit more "spacey".
GY!BE is better though.

Definitely check them out, it's a bit of a side project for a few members of GY!BE. One of the greatest live shows I've ever experienced.

I always listen to them in a row anyway). In fact I would says the first 5 minutes of "Storm" is one of the absolute pinnacles of composition in any genre of music.
Oh, try and get the "Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada" EP. It's amazing.

Tazer Floyd and Mother****er=Redeemer are really good live tracks. www.archive.org has several high-quality live recordings. |
