I like the vibe but I feel over 5 minutes is pushing it. You need to either shorten it, or come up with more interesting ideas.

Better to have a cool but short piece that leaves people feeling they could listen to more of it, than one too long that makes people bored.

I understand. This was my first one and I have since condensed my ideas. I know what you mean about getting bored...I appreciate your honesty.

It's nice to hear someone thinking and playing outside the box. Watch out for the Root/5th police though; you're liable to get a ticket.

Yikes...I DO love my root/5th...and octaves <3 haha, I always find myself using them but hopefully now that it's been brought to my attention I can branch away more often :P
