I need some honest and unmerciful opinions!!

Hey all, my band just finished our first CD. It was a bit rushed, not everything is perfect, and we went with the cheapest studio we could find. That being said, I am proud of what we've accomplished this summer, and expect that in time, we shall become rockstars lol (seriously though, we're all optimistic we'll go far)

Anyway, I would like you guys to take a look at our myspace and tell me what you think of the new tunes we have up there as a sample. Thanks a lot for any input. Criticism is gladly welcomed.

So it was a bit rushed, and done at the cheapest studio in town. And we are soliciting opinons without providing a link. Already this looks like it's going to be amateur hour.

PLEASE prove us wrong.

and everyday Jazzman gets on here, hoping for some comments or criticism, but leaves disgusted at the idea that none of us have the time or patience to listen to his band. when in fact.... HE DIDN'T GIVE US A LINK!!!

IF YOU'RE LOOKING AT THIS, JAZZY, WE NEEDY LINKY!! LINKY!!

I like it, its pretty darn groovin'.
Vocals are a bit strange though, they sound like Billy Talent meets a band in my area (Vancouver) called Fake Shark - Real Zombie.

It sux, it's horrible, there is a bunch of no talent hacks playing each and every instrument.

Just kidding

Not bad. Not my style exactly but with some producer studio polish you guys would be alright

Good musicians. The songs are well structured in my opinion. They really do have a groove to them, and yes I think the bass player is to thank for that. The vocals turn me off, but that's a genre preferance thing, if I was into that kind of stuff I would probably like him.

I quite liked what was going on in Super Funky Party, but I felt The Icecream Man sounded like a rip of The Gorillaz "Feel Good". So I skipped that track after only a few bars...
Salmonella was so so, but thats more my taste than the song itself. China was pretty good.

The vocals were a little on the weirder side, but I thought they fit well and I was interested to listen to the songs to hear what was coming next

All in all, I liked what you guys are doing. Keep up the good work!

i think fans of claudio sanchez, geddy lee, and billy talent will agree that that guys voice is irritating.
china-f***ing annoying.
salmonella-im just sick of white people rapping. for some reason there is a lack of "flow"
the icecream man-not bad. the end was kind of cool
super funky party-sounds like you wrote this after listening to the chili peppers for a week
