I want to hear good tone with two humbuckers

If you have any recordings of basses that have two humbuckers that sound really good, I want to hear them.

I want to hear two both pickups up full, no pickup soloing.

Anyone got some examples of basses with two humbuckers that sound great?

Before you ask, I'm not going to tell you what kind of tone I like. I want you to give me examples of what you like, pickups that you think sound really good.

I just finished recording with a Music Man Bongo 5 string with dual humbuckers and the final mix without mastering sounds f*cking un-real. I had the pickups set at about 55-45... though not an even 50-50 but I'd say that's pretty damn close if you ask me.

The bassist is good, but their vocalist sucks.

Would love to hear them with no vocals.

I use my stingray 5 HH with both humbuckers on full... I EQ it a bit though.... favorite pickup combination on it...

But I'm not seeing very many recordings...

Listen to Quadrophenia by the Who. Entwistle used a t-bird or a fenderbird for that project.

Actually Myung has a Humbucker / Single Coil setup.. I forgot.... I know that EBMM and Warwick are able to pull off double humbuckers.

His new tone also sounds really weird, even if you can hear it better. Although I did play a Bongo HH once and remembering it sounding very strange, I liked the bottom end but the high end has this smooth crackle type sound that just sounds bizarre to me. I didn't mess with the EQ though.

The first song that plays on my band's website (song is The Hand That Feeds) was recorded using my US Spector equipped with two EMG TW humbuckers. Very pleased with the tone...arguably my favorite tone on the album.

'Power Window's or 'Hold Your Fire' from Rush. Geddy's got the Wal bass going great on those two albums.

John Myung's tone is very scooped now i noticed. Sounds alright but I definitely prefer his older sound.
