I want to hear YOUR BAND and what you're all about!

Sorry if its a duplicate thread but I did a google search and couldn't actually find a thread like this. There is one that's close but not specifically asking this. Don't crucify me! Also, the "recordings" section is just a mess of anything to do with recorded audio. I wanted to centralize where all you TBr's can post new material you've been wanting heard!

My current band (on hiatus until we find a new drummer): www.micro.bandcamp.com

*Make sure you give a brief introduction as to what you're all about. Also, feedback I'm sure would be very appreciated so give some to get some and share the love!

Well, since no one else will, here is my band:http://www.last.fm/music/apostrophic

We're a prog rock/metal 5 piece.
"Omission" has lyrics and most of the music written by me and "The Final Eclipse" is written solely by our singer/guitarist. This is our first(possibly last) demo, so there is a lot we're not happy with, but it was cheap, so..

This band I fill in for very frequently–usually 2-3 x's a month. A crazy eclectic blend of Rock, New Orleans Celtic, Funk, Punk etc.

Beasts of Traal is a 3-piece band based out of Marshalls Creek, PA, the Pocono area of Pennsylvania. Heavily influenced by Jazz and Blues, the music takes on a Psychedelic Blues feel.

My band is an original rock band -bluerace.

Bio:
What is a bluerace? bluerace, the concept, denotes a future in which all of the human races blend together as one. bluerace, the band, took their name for two reasons. First, the band is a blend of four distinct musical personalities, which, like a true bluerace, somehow come together to create a singular ensemble greater than the sum of its parts. Second...well, the band members all thought the name sounded pretty cool. bluerace, the history, goes something like this: Roger and Thom were introduced at a studio jam session arranged by an old friend of both blueracers. The session evolved into a regularly-scheduled event, then into a band, then into the original five-member bluerace. When Dean singlehandedly replaced two of the original members in the late 90s (O.K....he really plays with two hands, like most bass players), three quarters of the race was complete. Finally, in 2005, Vic, Dean's former bandmate from Dino and the Groovies, became available and bluerace set out from the starting gate once again...this time without stopping or looking back. ..

Coming from Canada, is my 4 piece folk punk band 'Frontiers'

Frontiers is a concept band Based on a short story written by the band, Frontiers provides a glimpse into a futuristic world where unchanged environmental issues lead to an almost complete breakdown of society. The songs paint pictures of a generation raised in a world where a future may never come, dealing with growing up in a fractured society, and the chance to leave your home town behind with dreams of changing the world.
As this story unfolds the band tells the tale of a group of friends and their attempt to leave 'Frontier City' behind in pursuit of a better life.

Take a listen, its worth it! Send an email if you wanna play with us!

Walker - new EP: 'TEA PARTY' now available

Here's a link to some of my new tunes:

TEA PARTY

Full song previews are FREE, and download is available in full CD quality or MP3 and other lossy formats. The 6-song EP 'Tea Party' is posted on the Bandcamp site for just 5 bucks, singles for only 99 cents.

CAUTION: Gratuitous bass soloing on 'Throwaway!' So far, the "hit" off Tea Party seems to be 'School Isn't Fun Anymore.' I'd be curious to see if folks here agree with that call.

Found on this EP are my 1968 4001 MG, 1979 4001V63, 1979 4001SLH, and 1976 4001FL.

Pics of the gear:

I'm the bassist for TETRAFUSION. We're signed to Nightmare Records, new album coming out October 12th, distributed by Sony to a few major chain stores, hope you guys can pick up the album if you like us.

Video trailer for our new album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGxkBcYMdF8

You can pre-order it here, if at all interested: http://www.amazon.com/Altered-State-...2314888&sr=8-6

Our bio:

Tetrafusion is a Louisiana-based progressive metal band signed to Nightmare Records. After establishing in 2006, the band then released their self-produced debut record “Absolute Zero” in February of 2009, sans vocals, to critical acclaim from the underground music scene and received rave reviews from press and new fans worldwide. The album was featured globally on over twenty commercial stations, fifty online stations, dozens of review columns, and also received positive acknowledgement in Germany’s Rock Hard, Decibel, and Progression Magazines. The album was also hailed as one of the “top albums of year” by Ultimate-Guitar.com. A year and a half later after independently selling over one-thousand albums in a total of 21 countries, the band signed to Minnesota-based metal label Nightmare Records for the worldwide release of their sophomore effort “Altered State”, due on October 12th, 2010. This release will be the band’s first time to incorporate vocals into their work, as they will continue to do with all future material.

Here's my band! The Modern Drone. We are all in high school, and having a great time playing. I recommend listening to any song besides "Stuck in My Head", because the others were done in a studio, while that one was only recorded on a looper. A good pair of headphones would also be a plus!
