No it was Wilton Felder on a 60's Fender Telecaster bass with flatwound strings recorded direct. From Bass Player Magazine Holiday 2008 issue, page 67 with transcription.

One of my all time faves. I'd like to know if the piano was doubling the bass line or vice versa. Ya know, like chicken/egg?
