Hey all, a while ago, about a year and a half ago, i got a song called i want you, supposedly by the brothers johnson, but i dont think it was, coz i've been trying to find the song again and cant find it anywhere, but then i remember i learnt the bass line, but i only remember the verse, so i rememberd it as best as i could coz i havnt played it for over a year and recorded it to see if anyone reconises it

i dont lol, but it sed i want you in the lyrics i no that lol, the intro is the bass line that i'm playing there and drums, its that for the verse aswell, i tryed searchin for the lyrics but theres a million songs with the name i want you, but its a pretty distinct bass line, so i'm hopeing someone has heard the song knows who wrote it

I know the song plus Leon is a friend of mine.

Leon,Arthur T-Boy Ross and Jacqueline Hillard wrote that song.It was originaly intended for Leon's own solo project but when Marvin Gaye heard it he really wanted to record it and Leon ended up producing the Marvin Gaye album "I Want You" and the rest is history.

nope thats not the song lol, those lryics sound familiar tho, all i remember from the song, is that it starts with the bass line that i posted, and it ends with a guitar solo, i remember thinking it did sound abit like it was louis johnson on bass, but i dont think it was a brothers johnson song, even tho for some reason it sed it was, mabe i dreamt it, and if i did, i cna keep the bassline lol
