Ideal recordings of the following jazz/latin tunes?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey,

I'm after some recordings of the following tunes that would be ideal for transcribing bass lines and solos of any instrument. Anyway, the tunes are;

A Night in Tunisia
Spain
Lover Man
Cantaloupe Island

I've heard the original/most well-known versions of these tunes, but I want to hear some different versions to get more ideas as my jazz vocab is currently quite small.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

for Spain, get the original Chick Corea RTF with Stanley Clarke and Airto. For Cantaloupe Island, Herbie's version on the album Empyrean Isle.

those are really obvious, for the other two, I defer.....
