Beatles started doing teeny bopper cheesy rock Beatles went on to write masterpieces.
Elvis started out doing Rockabilly type stuff, went on to make cheesy music in Vegas.
It's not fair to Elvis I suppose: There were 3 geniuses in the Beatles (sorry Ringo) and Elvis was one man... who I don't think of as genius really.
