Don’t you just love musical "doodling"?

I’ve finally got some time off work to get to grips with my fairly basic home recording setup:

Yamaha SY-85 keyboard
Boss DR-670 drum machine
Tascam US-122 interface
Laptop with Cubase LE, Soundforge, Sibelius and various others bits of software (VSTi’s et cetera)
Tanglewood semi-acoustic guitar
Basses (obviously)
Bass V-Amp Pro (mainly for the guitar!)

So I’ve had a really nice afternoon just playing about…

I’m really enjoying this!! Lots to learn, but that's all part of the fun, right?

Great stuff! I really liked the last minute in particular, but it was all good stuff! Which bass were you using there? It had a very nice tone, fat but without being flabby!

That was my No. 1 bass - the Jazz (Warmoth body) with the Status graphite fretted neck, Nordy pickups and J-Retro. I'm really pleased with the tone of that bass myself, glad you like it.
