Sucks.

I got my dad's copy on vinyl... and it's horrible. Roger Water's vocals are maddeningly bad. And this has to be Eric Clapton's worst guitar playing... it's just so wanker/not tasteful. It's just this huge mess. The music is too over the top with not enough supporting the massive weight of it all. Water's doesn't realize he has a very limited vocal range, and he really really pushes it on this album. I dig "Amused to death." But for the most part, his solo stuff

Someone want to explain to me why this album is so critically aclaimed, especially by musicians?

I used to like Radio KAOS, I haven't listened to it for a long time, but I used to think it was better than any of his Pink floyd stuff.
