Improvised group recording?

Sign in to disble this ad
I would love to hear some TBers that improvise with bands.

Let's post those jams!

I will start off with some I did last week
This is mostly rock/jazz. I have not played with these guys in a long time (1.5 years), but we hooked up last week and had some fun jamming.

This is 100% improvised, so the changes are either random or us trying to go with the music.

the new songs are "letting out my anxieties" and "brass tacks"
Please let me know what you think:

There is actually some distortion there. You forgot the smiley if you were being sarchastic.

I recorded with a sony ECM 957 stereo mic into an Iriver mp3 recorder. No mixing, just a mic on a table in the small room we were jamming in.

I had the levels a little hot for this drummer as he really hits 'em hard.

Thanks for the comment.

I will post some when I get home. =) A couple friends and I were out a week or so ago and we just jammed. Though we didn't have a drummer--so one of the guitarists opted to play...
